2014 Northern Kentucky Bar Association
Contested Judicial Election Poll
Crestview Hills, KY. The Northern Kentucky Bar Association has conducted a judicial election poll for the contested Northern Kentucky judicial races. In an effort to continue the Association’s public service tradition of evaluating judicial candidates in contested races, ballots were sent to the active and inactive members of the Northern Kentucky Bar Association.
The survey was electronically delivered to 2,283 attorneys and judges by Election Trust and 269 judicial surveys were completed. Not all attorneys are litigators; therefore would have not been qualified to complete the survey. The tabulation can be reviewed in raw number form at http://www.nkybar.com/resources/NKBA-Contested%20Judicial%20Survey%20Certified%20Report-FINAL.pdf
For further information please contact Sheryl Egli Heeter, Judicial Committee Chair at (859) 781-1300.
The Northern Kentucky Bar Association will launch the 2015 NKBA Officers & Board Election and Foundation Trustees Election this Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at 12:00 noon and will run through October 15, 2014, at 5:00 p.m.
There are NO restrictions on who you can vote for. If you feel you know a candidate and support their candidacy you may vote for them despite the county your practice resides in. If you do not know a candidate running in a specific race we trust you will choose to not vote for that particular race.
NKBA members will be emailed their online ballot through Election Trust so please take the time to vote once you receive this email. You will receive a link to the ballot along with a special PIN number unique to your email address with instructions on how to place your vote. You must vote from the computer that matches your email address or it will not accept your vote. It will take no more than a minute or so to vote.
You may review the candidate’s brief biography and photo while voting by clicking on the blue icon next to each candidate’s name.
Please do not request a paper ballot. All voting is now being handled through an online format only.
If you have any questions you are welcome to contact me by email or (859) 781-1300, ext. 104 and best of luck to all of the candidates.
